Stanford Graduate School of Business topped the ranking where QS evaluated the employability for graduates, entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes, students' return on investment as measured by post-graduation increases in salary, academic thought leadership, and class and faculty diversity.
Overall it was an all-American domination in the top three in this year’s ranking, with Harvard Business School and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania ranking second and third respectively. Altogether there were six US-schools amongst the top ten: Apart from Stanford, Harvard and Wharton, there were Sloan (MIT), Booth (Chicago) and Columbia on the leader board. Four European schools also finished the surveys with excellent results: These were London Business School which ranked fourth, followed by Insead on number 6, HEC Paris on number 7 and IE Business School which placed eighth.
