Multinational companies are also currently targeting MBA graduates from Hong Kong and mainland China for their local operations, the dean said. The school’s new attraction partly stems from an offer that Iese Business School and China Europe International Business School (Ceibs) launched in January 2016: The new joint programme is called the World Executive MBA. It is designed for senior business leaders (with an average age of 40) who have responsibilities across international borders. It aims to develop participants both in terms of their leadership potential and by delivering a keen understanding of the forces that shape management in different parts of the world, Iese wrote in a press release last year.
The World Executive MBA is being taught on CEIBS and IESE campuses across five continents. Modules are set to be delivered in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Barcelona, New York, Munich, Silicon Valley, Sao Paulo and in strategic locations in India and Africa. To maximize the global scope of the programme, participants were strategically selected to represent a broad diversity of geographies, backgrounds, roles and sectors.
To ensure it is easily accessible for executives from a variety of regions, the programme format is blended, balancing residential modules run at Ceibs and Iese campuses around the world, alongside online modules. Participants are learning through the case study method and a very intense personalized development programme.
