WHU top in the CHE ranking of master's programmes

Student assessments placed the Master’s programmes at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in the top flight of all of the areas ranked in the CHE University Ranking. It is the most comprehensive ranking in the German-speaking countries. The CHE studied more than 300 universities and universities of applied sciences in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and The Netherlands.

In addition to facts about studying, teaching, facilities and research, the ranking also includes the results of student surveys with regard to the conditions of study at their respective universities.

According to the university, students were particularly satisfied with the feasibility of study at WHU and the overall study situation. Respondents also reported that they were more than satisfied with the support provided for the transition to careers, and with the support provided by the faculty and administrative staff. The students surveyed for the ranking had particular praise for the international orientation of the university as a whole and especially of its Master's programmes.

The indicator is composed of the aspects of "integration of study abroad," "internationalism of the student body," "internationalism of departmental teaching staff" and "foreign language instruction." Comparably good grades received the master programmes in business studies at EWTH Aachen, the programme for finance management at Universität Aachen, KLU Hamburg, HHL Leipzig, Universität Mainz, the programme for finance management at TU München and Witten Herdecke.
