These findings were released as one of the results of the 2015 Application Trends Survey that the council – which administers the GMAT entrance exam for business schools – provides on a yearly basis.
According to GMAC 57 per cent of full-time two-year MBA programmes and 51 per cent of one-year programmes reported an increased application volume. Last year only 37 per cent of one-year programmes reported growth. Both programme formats performed better compared than 10 years ago: 60 per cent of full-time two-year and 53 per cent of full-time one-year MBA programmes indicated they received more applications this year than in 2005.
