The new programme is taught in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and aims at people already working in the healthcare industry from physicians to administrators and managers. The programme will span over 19 months with classes held on Fridays and Saturdays.

The EMBA's curriculum includes topics in both general management and healthcare like Financial Accounting, Global Supply Chain Management, and Information Technology and Electronic Medical Records for example. The programme also aims to incorporate practical experience with a year-long, six-credit component, where students can trial their newly learnt skills in the workplace.
