The online format will enable students from around the world – from Zambia to Armenia – to obtain a Frankfurt School Master’s degree while still working part-time or full-time. The course specifically addresses the needs of professionals and future leaders who are already working in development finance, for example at donor organisations, microfinance institutions, NGOs or development banks. In addition to compulsory classes on, for instance, managing change or innovation in development finance, students can also take elective modules in a variety of subjects. Typical options include Islamic Microfinance, Microinsurance, Risk Management and Renewable Energy Finance.
Applicants are required to have a university degree (at least equivalent to a Bachelor degree), some professional experience, and excellent spoken and written English-language skills.
